About Weraroa Cricket Club

Weraroa Cricket Club was established 100 years ago. Today the club has clearly become one of the strongest in the Horowhenua-Kapiti region of New Zealand. We are based in a small town of 20,000 people in Levin, one hour north of Wellington, our capital city. Our home ground and club rooms are based on the Weraroa Cricket Reserve cnr Oxford Street & Mako Mako Road Levin.

Weraroa has three teams playing in individual grades from social to Premier level. And though out the history of the club we have been extremely successful. Our club has been Senior/Lower Grade Champions on many occasions.

Our club is a very young club with players ranging from 13 to 70 years, with our players ranging from social to premier level.

Weraroa Cricket Club may be one of the smaller cricket clubs in New Zealand, but we are a very proud club and always make sure the Weraroa White Heron is flying proud at all times.

We are always looking for new players to be part of our club history, so get involved and get down to the Weraroa Cricket Reserve in Levin Tuesdays and Thursdays evenings for training and we will find you a team at your level.
